The more powerful, expressive Armagnacs | The classic Armagnacs, rich, balanced, with a good deal of character |
| Bas Armagnacs beyond 40 years of age are of course unclassifiable - they are well rounded and each have their distinctive character, impossible, therefore, to restrict to a particular 'family' The finest Armagnac is produced from four grape varieties: 'Baco', 'Folle Blanche', 'Ugni Blanc' and Colombard. The composition of the respective Francis Darroze vintages are abbreviated beneath the relevant vintage to : Baco % - FB % - UB % - Col %, reflecting the evolution of selective blending as decreed by the governing body. |
